Denise Leonard, Lead Vocal & Rythm Guitar

Denise Leonard’s musical journey began in third grade, singing in choir and playing cello. She went on to earn a vocal scholarship to Jessup University and honed her early performing chops as a singing waitress, singing‑telegram artist, and lead vocalist for Bay Area cover bands. Denise has a deep background in contemporary Christian music, serving as music director and as a lead vocalist, bassist, and rhythm guitarist in churches across the country. Since 2010 she’s been a driving force with Rolling Heads and more recently has been performing with SFA & The Super Spreaders, bringing warmth, vocal power, and versatility to every stage. Denise and Ted Leonard are a married couple for 15 years!

Pete Bucci, Bass Guitar & Backing Vocals

Pete has been playing bass guitar since childhood, landing his first paying gig at age 15. He has actively performed in and around the Buffalo, Rochester, and Syracuse, NY areas ever since. Originally from Niagara Falls, NY, Pete was heavily influenced by progressive rock and spent several years performing with the local Genesis cover band, Middle Earth. He has recently been active as a studio bassist and has performed with several local bands in the Rochester/Canandaigua, NY region.

Taylor Apicella, Drums

Taylor has been playing percussion since elementary school, progressing through concert and symphonic band and marching percussion throughout his teens. Along the way he picked up bass guitar, playing in several bands before finding his home behind the kit. He joined Rolling Heads five years ago and hasn't looked back. Solid, consistent, and always in the pocket — he brings the backbone to a setlist that spans five decades, from Motown soul to modern rock. Equally at home locking into a classic rock groove or driving through something heavier, he's the kind of drummer that makes everyone else's job easier.
